Rim Questions
As the title says I have a few questions about Wheels and Suspension Mods as i am quite a bit of a noob.
I am wanting to get XXR 527's - Will 5x100 17x8.25 +25 Fit? (Photos If So) (I've Searched but wanted to narrow it down and see as many pics as i can) - Will i need new lugs? If so what size? - Will Stock Tires Fit? (temporary) - What do camber bolts do? - Will i need camber bolts if i decide to run lowering springs? (Deciding between Eibach Prokit and the Sportline) |

The +25 offset might make it pretty close to the fender if not it may also pole - Will i need new lugs? If so what size? The lug size for our cars are m12x1.25 - Will Stock Tires Fit? (temporary) 8.25 might work... Might. But it will stretch. - What do camber bolts do? They adjust the knuckle position to give you camber. Up to 1.5 or 2 degrees depending on which bolts you use.

Usually when you change your wheels to aftermarket ones you should get better than oem lug nuts. Stuff that is thinner and could be used with a thin walled ratchet. Don't want to scratch your new rims do you? Also people, like me, option to changed their studs to ARP studs because they are much stronger than the oem studs as I have broken 3 so far. With the ARP studs then you will need extended lugs (if you want to hide the stud) Steel lug nuts will always be stronger than aluminum but will weigh more.
