Hey, this is my first time tuning any car I've driven. I currently have a 2013 Scion FR-S and I got the OFT. Now, I do have a couple mods, a Perrin Cold Air with the inlet tube addition, a full exhaust from Invidia including the downpipe, and tomorrow I'll be adding the Tomei Expreme UEL catless headers. I did an initial tune tonight to have everything ready for tomorrow and because I'm horribly impatient. I've been reading these forums like a fiend and you guys are amazing at the level of expertise and help you offer so I'm going to throw myself out here. I've set the Stage 1 map since I'm running 93 oct, and no header, yet. Here's my first log after I reflashed and went on a test drive. I know it's probably not much to go on, but I wanted someone who knows this stuff inside and out to take a peek and make sure nothing went horribly wrong and I'm good to go so far. I WILL be tuning to E85 this weekend so I want to catch anything wrong early and make sure I'm ready to roll come E85 time. So thank you ahead of time for those that will take a look!

I can't speak on how the log looks. But I do believe that there are some differences between regular petrol and e85 for the tunes. So, I'm not sure if seeing something iffy on a 93 tune would indicate there could/would be a problem with e85.
Best of luck, hope it all works out for you! Edit: If I'm wrong, please correct me. I'd love to learn a thing or two. |

Looking at your Ignition advance multiplier at least we know your fuel is good because it stays constant at 1. Also this is a good post to read up on that he made: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1842501

But yeah, the maps between Stage 1 93 octane and Stage 2 E85 are pretty different, so it's hard to say if things will be the same or different post flash. The log looks fine for the most part. It looks like there's a tiny bit of knock correction, but nothing serious enough to affect IAM. |

Excellent, I'm super happy with the input and it definitely doesn't feel like its rough. I'm putting the UEL headers on tomorrow morning and then tuning for E85 and I'll post the logs for that after we're done. I've read through the posted resources, especially steve99's posts but I'm hella new to this so my understanding of it is very minimal. I expect I'll understand more as I play with it and it all starts to match up to what I'm seeing as I tune. Thank you so much for the input. Every bit of it helps me!
Also, as far as the LTFT and STFT numbers go, what am I looking for? |

So here's the retune with the headers on STG 2 for UEL 93 OCt. I noticed my LTFT drops to -14 solid during idle. But corrects when the throttle is on. Is this normal?

Did you just install the headers? Did you use new gaskets? -14 likely points to a small exhaust leak.

New gaskets, definitely correct but I used an O2 spacer on the second sensor, would that cause it?

We used a torque wrench on everything so I feel like it's probably good, could it be I was low on fuel?
Also, did the final step for today, tuned for E85. It's a short run but this might help since it's my actual final modification. http://www.datazap.me/u/kevinthegriz...ne?log=0&data= |

The fuel trims may stabilise a bit on next tank of e85 as their will be less residual petril they should trend a bit more ppsitive after that if 02 sensors gaskets not leak
Ing its likely due to the aftermarket intake so will need maf scaling If fuel trims ztabilize below 8% and yor afr on e85 follws om MNxed afr well it will be fine |

It generally starts off with the LTFT at close to 0%. On a cold start. Once it warms up, it's getting to around -17% then dropping to around -13% and stays there. It will goto 0% when under throttle until around 4kRPM and it will drop down to around -9% and fluctuate. I don't know if that helps, also, I grabbed another log to see if you can spot what the deal is. I found the Perrin Intake MAF scaling but I have absolutely no idea how to utilize it or how to scale at all and the directions to get RomRaider even open to where I can see everything is a bit confusing.
