Personally, my favorite (currently) is running the five mile configuration. Between the east and west sides you get a fantastic variety of features with a good set of variation in pace (both in actions per unit time and in speed). This configuration is really rewarding with more experience, but it is also very demanding (especially for newer drivers).

In terms of NCRC running the five mile, I really hope they try it again on a weekend! It is much harder to get to events on weekdays.

If anyone does an HPDE at Sonoma Raceway we are located at the track and can perform your tech inspection for free!

Throughout the day you are also welcome to use our shop air for tires and torque wrench for wheels.

We are often also attending these events ourselves and can attend the drivers and download meetings with you, especially if it is your first time. We can "walk with you" so to speak through the process of attending an HPDE to make it an easy and enjoyable experience!

Lastly, you can view our "Getting Started at the Track" document to get a feeling of what to expect and how to prepare for an event.

Hope that helps!

Nice set of tracks there. Who are you doing Chuckwalla with?

I'll be going with my father and stopping off at Propel in West Sacramento (consistent fuel and only 20 minutes extra driving), so we'll probably have a different schedule. We'll be parked under the first overhang. Reserved a spot. Totally worth it, believe me. As I said before, I'm staying at the Economy Inn. They're awesome. Not fancy, though.

I'm selling a helmet, an XL pyrotect open face, if anyone is interested. Three trackdays on it. A bit too small for me. SA2005.

Mine will be the red FR-S with the big blue 510 in tape on the side.
