BC coilover - how to setup

I just installed my BC coilovers and need some help setting them up.
I know what to set where but that´s about it.

how do i know how high the spring preload is?
also i drive the car on a daily basis but i go to track days and drift events once a month at least.

what would be the best setup?

would appreciate some help.
thanks

Those videos should help.

Also, I've ordered some BCs with Swift Spring upgrades. It seems that the fronts have less than 1 inch of drop adjustment available due to the length of the springs (which are the same length/internal diameter as the rears)

That is, unless they've already screwed the shock body in a bit?

Is that a picture of the front coilovers you've received? Seems like a lot more adjustment range than what I'm seeing.

ok that first video really helped so now i know how much it will change the preload.

yes the coilovers came as pictured but the spring was very loose, i tightened it up a good amount. i installed them as shown on the picture and the car was high as an SUV :P

i have about 2 cm (0,8 inches) left between the upper and lower nuts.

how many preload should be good for daily driving with track use of the car?
it seems very comfortable now.
Also how will changing the settings when adjusting the damper?

Not an expert on this, but my plan was to not touch the preload after setting it up and doing the rest with the damper adjustment.

Hrmm... here's how much adjustment I have on the fronts with about 5mm of preload dialed in.

*EDIT: original picture size was waaay too big
