Do I Need a Heat Shield?

As some of you may know I recently installed my Tsudo exhaust, which replaced my OEM catalytic converter.

The exhaust did not come with a heat shield, but I know the OEM cat had one.

I was just wondering if I should look into putting a heat shield on there. The cat does not look to be very close to any wires (obviously), but is there any danger of overheating anything else?

It's not necessary for the overpipe back as much as it is for headers to be coated if you go that route.
