I just got delivery and the guy is driving a lowered IS300. I love that. That makes me reach in my pocket and give him a $20 tip. The guy driving a 20 year old stock corolla not so much.

I'm probably wrong, but what do you guys think?
I don't care what he's driving as long as delivery is on time, and I'm not waiting for who-knows-how-long for the pizza. That's what determines the tip: time from "pizza is out for delivery" to the guy pulling up outside my place (with dominos at least, this can be tracked). If he's on time or better, he gets a good 20% tip. If he's annoyingly late, he gets $3 max.

I saw a guy driving a lowered BRZ delivering pizza in Palm Harbor FL a couple weeks ago. He needed a big tip because he was so low that he was dragging going into the apartment complex and over every speed bump. I actually felt kind of sorry for him.

I just got pizza right now. The delivery car had combination locks holding on the hood instead of pins and a duct tape racing stripe. Only in SoCal.

wtf am I reading? a guy that delivers pizza, has a c5 z06, and a 400whp srt-4? what?

those are are mutually exclusive. why would you have a c5 z06 and a srt-4? why would you be a pizza guy and have a c5 z06? maybe srt4 and pizza guy but wtf?

I just can't even believe this.

Haha, he's been building the srt for a long time now, and he just picked up the c5 this past summer. He pretty much runs the pizza place, but he's not too good to go out and deliver pizzas-really fast!

I tip based on experience and satisfaction. I'll also never really tip over 15%. On that note i'm generally cheap. I never get pizza delivered.... Rather pick it up on my way home from work. Pizza hut app ftw.

Most of the time I don't even bother getting pizza delivered anymore because I'm cheap. If I'm ordering a ten dollar pizza I don't want to have to pay a three dollar delivery fee and another few bucks for a tip on top of that. That increases my cost 50% for one damn pizza.

And once a long while ago I had a delivery guy come to the door. I didn't have a whole lot of cash but I gave him a couple bucks extra and he goes "that's it?" I was young and stupid so I had no idea how to react. In hindsight I should've told the fucker if it ain't good enough give it back and get back to work, and then called his manager to complain.

In college I delivered for Jimmy Johns.

Hands down my favorite non real job. In fact, I hope to franchise one someday, and deliver in my 911 when I'm retired. If nothing else, it'll fuck with people lol.

I've seen a GTR parked outside a pizza place.
The sign in the store said "Fast Delivery"
