be weary of the 12 point sockets. I personally prefer the 6 point ones since there is less of a chance of rounding out your bolts/nuts. and a long breaker bar is always a good idea. the one I have is only 1 ft long and sometimes I have to use a cheater bar on it since it doesn't give enough leverage on the tighter bolts. also on that note, a cheater bar is always nice. I use the extension handle on my floor jack since it can screw right off and is hollow to fit a ratchet or breaker bar inside

Just look for all Metric sets. Unless you have an older American car you work on. I think most modern American cars use metric. But spend money on a torque wrench too. This is a must as you over tighten just one bolt it could cause.....

Definitely recommend a quality torque wrench. I've bought two Precision Instruments wrenches and love them both. Heard they are a supplier for Snapon and others. Take care of your wrench and it'll last.

Even though i have a tool box and access to a shop with 4 lifts and there tools, i always keep this in my trunk as well as a flat head and a phillips. its never let me down other then crankshaft bolts or the very few extra large bolts. I pulled the motor out of my 240 using this set. http://toolguyd.com/craftsman-max-ax...t-and-sockets/
