Broken OFT & ECU/PCM Swapping? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Hello I've had a state ref for sometime and they must've marked the car when I brought in and failed a emissions test Time ago. My OFT was cracked because it seems things are in the way and it's easiest to put aside. I'm running E85 now and the screen is broken it turns on just shows black orb and cracks, makes beeping noises when I check diagnostics. But beeps when I tap on it, maybe I could still navigate through??, was wondering if it still works, well my original stock tune was corrupted or replaced by a non-default oem-like I assume stock tune. I'm 2nd owner of OFT and 4th or something of a 1st gen BRZ so they lag and avoid helping me replace it. Could I swap a used stock ECU to pass emissions with stock exhaust, go to 91 fuel, pass; then put aftermarket system in then re-put the ecu thats flashed then run e85 again? I failed emissions test it said it was the PCM (replace that instead of ecu or both?) i Could totally get another OFT too..

P.S. hope I wont be shunned too soon for my lack of forum posting capability.

I bought the forwarded item and it seems as its for the v1 lol, I have the version 2..
