It threw a lean bank code after I let it warm up. I reset the code and now it won’t fire again. Not even a hint of it this time. Everything seems tight on the passenger side. I’ll have to remove the ECU to check the injector bolts, though it seems tight, no play. |

Yea that's likely gonna be the issue. Are you using edelbrocks tune or custom? I had the same problem when I installed mine. The map had to be scaled to where resting was closer to zero (mine is .33)

So it’s a bad sensor? The one on the intake? There are two, right? One (original) on the intake and one supplied by edlebrock on the super charger. |

No sorry I mis spoke. I assumed you were using the edelbrock. Send the info over to your tuner and they should be able to scale it to a more appropriate level so you can get it started.

Thanks for your help. I captured data when it was running and not, so we should have what we need. I’ll update next week. |

So you'll want to look at the MAP reading and compare to your atmospheric pressure. Depending on elevation you should be seeing right around 1 bar with the engine off. If the MAP has a different reading than that, it will definitely cause an issue. I had a similar issue but it was just dumping fuel because my MAP was seeing 2.5bar because of a cut wire in the harness.

Im sorry I keep coming into this thread at random times. Can someone please educate me on how the bypass works or whats its job is? Im not new to the FI world, And I understand how the bypass functions.
under vacuum the actuator pulls the bypass valve open allowing air to go around the SC? WHY? Then when on throttlw, there is no vacuum, the bypass is spring loaded so it should close on its own? When these bypass valves fail, the Vacuum cant hold the valve open? and it leaks? When under full boost it sounds like the bypass valve is open, how is that possible? if its under spring tension? What is causing the P0171 codes? its all metered air going in so whats making the lean condition? |

Under boost, there is no longer a vacuum, so the bpv closes. |
