Transmission noise
I’ve currently got a 2015 scion frs and it’s been making some noises i’ve never heard before. the noise sounds like it’s coming from just behind the engine, it does not sound like a bearing because it is making a squeeling noise rather than a grinding noise. it seems to stop when i push down on my clutch, as well after the vehicle is running for a while. would anyone know what the problem would be i’ve looked everywhere on the internet and cannot find a sound that is remotely close to what mine sounds like.

Maybe you should Google "noise stops push down clutch pedal".
I've never heard a bearing make a "grinding" noise

yeah I’ve been looking at my engine bay for a bit and i think i’ve come to the conclusion that’s it’s either my throw out bearing, or my slave cylinder needs to be greased. when i push down on my slave cylinder the noise stops and only makes noise when idling Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Do you have a stock or aftermarket clutch? Usually, if it's a Stage 2 or 3 makes some noises when idling that aren't related to the TOB or slave cylinder.

If it is like a creaky noise (not a grinding noise) when you step in and out of the clutch whether the engine is off or on, then it the "slave cylinder" needs to be lubricated as well as the pivot fork where it meets the clutch fork underneath the dust boot from the transmission. I would suggest lubricating both to reduce the noise. If neither resolves the problem after the lubrication, it's a TOB or clutch-related issue. Some other ideas are how many miles did you have the stock clutch for? Was it replaced or not? Otherwise, some videos would help the members to pinpoint the issue.
