I don't have a problem with air, it's just not for me or for what I want to accomplish with this car (or any).

You have to admit, air does give up SOME function. If it was the best system every racecar would run air, but no one does because it doesn't give you the proper dampening you need to really push a car to the limit and it adds weight. Please don't misconstrue this into me saying you can't drive a car fast with an air set-up, but I am saying with a proper coilover/damper set-up the car will handle better. It's science.

Now 95% of the people that drive cars on air or even cars period are NOT good enough drivers to take advantage of that level of performance.

You do realize you can drive just as hard on Bags as you can on coils?

I was unaware of that. I wasn't referring to that though, it's so low that it seems there would be alot of scraping if driven hard. I dunno though.

All you do is air up. you can make the bags ride as stiff as you want. Maybe you should watch this

Wow that's cool. Seems like something that would be expensive though.

Haters gonna hate.

Air is targetted to different people and market, mainly it's the "slammed" look, or "wheel tuck"

Also full air systems range from 3k with no remote, to 4-5k installed with remote.

A lot of dubs in Toronto are on air.

IE:

However I do agree that the FRS/BRZ isn't really a car to be on bags, but who am I to say? :P

I think it looks awesome!! Would I bag mine, no I wouldn't because I've been there done that. I think the car looks great though and the lines look awesome when there's no wheel gap and body laying on the ground. I lower all my cars but not to the point where it diminishes the handling characteristics.

Nice job man!! I love it!! Let the haters hate.

I spent $3200 shipped on my air ride setup i have on my GTI. Accuair e level with the same performance bags from that video i posted. Its more expensive than coilovers, but at least i can change the height in case a steep driveway or a massive speed bump blocks my path. Not to mention i can make them as stiff or as lax as i want.

I have driven and rode in a bagged mustang and one on coils, we drifted both and they both felt about even. Yes you can blow a bag but that's only $60 to replace, the reward far outweighs the cost and very slight risk.
