Wink Calin's introduction thread (lots of pictures!!!)

What's up guys and girls! My name is Calin, and I just bought my BRZ 2 days ago. I've put about 140 miles on it so far and totally love it! I haven't pushed the car hard yet since I'm breaking it in properly, but I can't wait to let this beast loose soon. I also bought some Eibach Sportline springs less than 24 hours after buying the car haha. I also changed my dome light, door lights and trunk light to bright white LEDs. A few future plans for the car will be wheels (possibly Enkei RPF1's), Greddy Evo3 exhaust and a K&N drop-in filter. After that, I'll see what else I can think of. I'd also love to check out some BRZ/FRS meets in the SoCal area to see what other guys have done with their cars. If anyone knows a good meet coming up, let me know. Anyways, before I get onto the BRZ, I thought I'd share a little of my car history. Enjoy the pics

Back in 2007 I bought my dream car since I was in high school. A 2006 Nissan 350Z. It was a really fun car and I had a lot of fun modding it. This picture was taken shortly after I bought it. I had Eibach Sportline springs and a Veilside carbon fiber lip in this picture.

A little bit later, it turned into this

Then in 2010 I sold the 350Z and thought I'd get something a bit different. So I bought a 2002 Lexus GS300 on air suspension. The car turned a lot of heads and I got a lot of compliments, but it wasn't very much fun to drive. It looked cool, but was a bit boring in my opinion. Because of that, I only had the car for about 7 months before I sold it.

For some strange reason I got bored of the whole modded car scene and just wanted something totally different that I knew I wouldn't spend money modding. So I bought a 2012 Fiat 500. Don't laugh

I was happy with the Fiat for the first few months, but became bored quickly. The 101 HP fiat was way too underpowered and I was constantly flooring it just to get anywhere. So a few weeks ago I joined this forum and did a bit of research on the BRZ. Then 2 days ago I picked up this beauty. It feels soooo good to be back in a sports car!! Not the greatest pictures, but I just wanted to take a few that I can post on here. I'll take some nicer pictures soon. Enjoy

I can't wait to have these installed soon

By the way, I met a pretty cool FRS driver today at Evasive Motorsports when I went to buy my Eibach springs. If Taylor is on here...what's up dude!!

I'm running the sportlines on my WRB BRZ and love them. The ugly wheel gap is gone and it still handles amazing.

Good luck with the new ride!! I sure miss Irvine..used to live there full time.

Nice! I can't wait to get rid of that wheel gap, and then get some different wheels soon. I think I'll just throw on some spacers until I get my new wheels.

Haha nice!! Did you also own a 350Z? Thanks everyone!! I'm getting the Sportlines installed in just a few hours and hopefully also get some spacers at the same time. I'll do another photoshoot once the springs are installed.
