Question So is there no way to buy new OEM wheels?

I searched on Google for "scion fr-s oem wheel", and the 1st result is ebay, followed by a place called Hubcap Haven, followed by Detroit Wheel and Tire.

So that's it huh? Toyota themselves no longer carry brand new OEM wheels? My only options are reconditioned OEMs or replicas?

FYI, I'm trying to compare the cost of fixing a nick in my wheel vs just buying a replacement.

---

UPDATE: The user NoHaveMSG pointed me in the right direction. They still sell OEM wheels officially from Toyota and Subaru, but are quite expensive if you go that route.

Call the dealer. See what they can get. Or search for a clean used wheel.

How about a junkyard? Maybe some totalled FRS has the wheels still available

Would be way cheaper than overpriced OEM stuff.

Holy crap $365.... (Toyota version runs around $300)

Yeah, I think I'll look on the used market.

The wheel I'm looking to fix/replace is literally perfect except for one curb nick that dug out a small piece of aluminum.

(ignore the damage on the tire sidewall, it never made it through to the inner layer)

Is the wheel you're offering essentially flawless? (except for brake dust, which can be cleaned off)

I am not sure that the brake dust can be cleaned off lol I’ve hit them with wheel cleaner and the pressure washer. Otherwise they are fine, I think. I haven’t seen them in like a year.

Have you checked out wheel repair place? I’d imagine a wheel repair place could mostly fix that.

Personally I would be more concerned with replacing that tire vs finding a new wheel.

Do you have a photo of what your wheel looks like???

I have yet to get a quote from a wheel shop, but I plan to. If they can't fix it 95%+ for a good price, then it might be wasted money even if it's cheaper than replacing the wheel.

The damage to my wheel and tire is actually from 2016. I only just decided to finally do something about it.

As for the damage to the sidewall, I brought my car into a tire shop and asked the technician to inspect it. He said there's nothing to worry about because it never pierced the inner layer. This confirms what I read online about sidewall damage from various sources.

I've been driving fine for years.
