I use that old saying on our sales department all the time.

From Tirerack BMW F30 tests (Goodyear is also an all season):

-------------------------------Wet g/dry g/dry braking/wet braking
Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+: 0.80__0.92__80.9ft____101.3ft
Goodyear Eagle Exhilarate: 0.84__0.94__85.7ft____97.4ft
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S:-----0.77__0.97__78.4ft____117.9ft
Pirelli P Zero PZ4:-----------0.83__0.96__80.0ft___ 121.1ft
The size options are limited with PS4 AS, unfortunately. I hope they make more size options available later. I use 245/40-17 and neither PS3 AS nor PS4 AS available.

Yea, one thing I realized looking around on Tirerack at tires for bigger cars is man do you get better choices...

In the Miata-size segment, people to this day still run really old models that just can't keep up with the latest rubber, since they don't bother making the really good stuff in small sizes.

There are some other good all seasons. I am very satisfied with General G-Max AS05 and Yokohama Advan Sport A/S+. I will try Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric AS next. There are very good reviews on Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 and I like Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS on my Mazda 3.

I was at a Performance Driving School this Monday and I got to chase down a C8 on the track! it was absolute eye candy 🥰

My breaks eventually overheated (2017 BRZ MT PP all stock + Continental UHP something) and I lost him.

The gentleman was so kind, he let me sit in his new dream car after the race. It's a silver one with the performance package and the trident wheels and transparent roof. Now he made it my dream car. I will plan to get one next as my BRZ replacement. I love it.

I think I plan to strip down the sound deadening material to lighten it up and not to mention I love the raw sounds anyway.

Saw one in the flesh (at last) on the weekend... it was painted in a garish red/silver/black/white liver, with what appeared to be an aftermarket diffuser, and possibly wing as well... it wasn't a look that I could really call attractive...

C8 Corvette Factory Shuts Down For At Least One Week Due To Parts Shortage

Quote:
General Motors has shut the Corvette Assembly Plant at Bowling Green for at least one week due to a parts shortage.

Chevrolet started a second shift for the Corvette on August 31st, and while that was good news for those eagerly awaiting delivery of their mid-engined sports car, some suppliers haven’t been able to keep up.

It remains unclear which exact parts Chevrolet is having difficulty sourcing, but Corvette Blogger says the only alternative to the factory shutdown would have been for Chevrolet to remove the affected parts from C8 Corvette orders, as it had to do earlier in the year with the optional 5VM Aero Kits and the High Wing rear spoiler. Apparently, Chevrolet wasn’t willing to do this.

“Due to a temporary parts supply issue, we can confirm that Bowling Green Assembly will not run production the week of October 12,” Chevrolet spokesman Kevin Kelly confirmed in a statement. “Our supply chain, manufacturing and engineering teams are working closely with our supply base to mitigate any further impact on production, and we expect the plant to resume normal operations on Monday, October 19.”

Those with an order for a 2020 model year Corvette needn’t worry as they will still get their cars despite the delay. In fact, GM recently notified Chevrolet dealerships that production of the 2020 Corvette will be extended through December. Production of the 2020MY was scheduled to end in November to make way for the 2021MY, but that will no longer be the case, Corvette Action Center reports.

It is understood that a total of 20,181 Corvettes will be produced for the 2020 model year.

Were you not ranting about the understeer being a deal breaker earlier in this thread?
Just curious as to what changed?

Started seeing an orange one driving through my street. Not sure which of my neighbors drive it but, IMO, it looks oddly shaped. This car has a bit of everything in it and it's definitely wide, that's for sure. I'm still glad I didn't hold off on the C8 and I'm loving my MK5 Poopra.
