Unfortunately yes, there's people that buy this Crawford junk. Why?

Because there are way more ignorant and stupid people in the world than educated.

Because they know how to make videos that will attract the lazy/ignorant group that reads WOW 500 TQ and 500 HP, PERFECTION YOOOO.

Because that same majority of people think BROOO, my exhaust cracklePOPS like superBAD, listen to how my Turddddbo sounds BRAHHH.... and that's all that matter.

Lastly "Let's take to the track/spirited canyon run a non intercooled FI car" said no one ever

Lemme put it this way, if a cheapass CX racing turbo kit has an intercooler, there is no excuse Crawford shouldn't include one.
Agree but at the sometime cheap ass CXRacing can afford to because all their parts are horseshit and last a week tops.

Honestly what part of price/performance are you "very impressed" with?

Like others have said, there are plenty of quality offers on the market priced below this, that include an InterCooler and are making more power, SAFER, than this.

And plenty of quality offerings that can be run on normal pump gas...

TJ Hunt put a video up.
$4,000... Doesn't full blown's kit start at 4k also?

Sbd's kit is still so far the most affordable kit.

In my eyes..

Pros: Twin-Scroll, thermal shielding for oil return line, pre-welded oil pan.

Cons: ~275 crank HP running E85 @12psi. No charge cooling.

Honestly I'd like to see their injector duty cycles. I'm at ~250whp at 7psi on the SBD kit with my own tune (modified Shiv OFT tune) and I suspect I'm just about maxed on my injector duty cycles. More options is better I guess, but still can't wrap my head around not having charge cooling at that price point.

No intercooler, no thanks! $4000+ for a blow dryer setup. Seriously, are these people smoking crack? Heat soak city right here.

When I asked about tracking the car with this turbo set-up (intercooler or not, which has been stated before... is a $1400 upgrade) they told me I was crazy and they would never recommend that. For tracking I would need to order the normal $7K+ turbo kit.

If you ignore the intercooler and the brand name conversation this video review could be about any turbo'd car with about 270hp

Ive ran an SBD kit at 7PSI in 100+F weather with 100% DI 0% Port... The fuel mixture might not be the most ideal but you obviously have no idea how large the OEM fuel capacity is. =D

I remember running ~8PSI on my 30R with pure DI at one point testing some things. You are far from pushing your duty cycles.

Do you mean on 93 or E85? I used to run 7PSI 93oct with about 70/30 DI/PI ratio at the top end, so likely similar fuel flow if you were at 100% DI with E85 .Do you happen to remember what your DI pulse widths were?

This makes me really excited actually. I thought 9-10ms DI pulse widths was pushing it (I really wish there was more documentation on the DI system). It does explain why I could still hit 11.0 AFR at 7PSI running E85 at 30% PI. How come people are reporting hitting a fuel barrier around 300whp?
