With an OFT, if I get new tires ave wheels, would I need to use TPMS, or would I be able to clear the tire pressure warning light?

Your light will still be on. Afaik there is no way I disable it or change the pressure at which it turns on.

I'd probably pull the bulb for the pressure light.

Not difficult to remove with a solder iron, a solder vacuum, and a steady hand. Probably $20 of stuff from Radio Shack.

Unfortunately, Radio Shack does not sell steady hands.

My light is on all the time right now because my current daily drive wheels do not have TPMS. It's just another light.

I would recommend simply ignoring the light. But I would recommend more strongly that you run higher tire pressures. Correct tuning of tire pressures involves selecting the highest pressure possible before the tire starts to round off into a torus, and if you're low enough to trip the light I doubt you're there.

If it was my car I would just cover the light with a drop of black rtv silicone. Its thick, black and non-conductive. And it can be removed easily later down the road.
