I'm not sure that they changed the subframe mount points, but just extended the rear suspension bits by 10mm.
I made a mistake in my previous statement. let me go back and fix it. Last edited by dragoontwo; 01-21-2022 at 09:59 AM. |

I thought the changes were at the knuckle side according to CSG Mike?

I must have missed that post. A quick glance at the parts page shows the RLCA and knuckle being the parts specific to the 2022. I suppose my idea was wrong. However with the only change in the RLCA being that the hole moved outboard 10mm, my shock is now where it would have been on the previous model.
After some digging, I found this post by MikeCSG that states the rear measurements are identical with the change being in the rear quarter panel. In a post on the next page, he attributes the track width increase to the wheel width increase. So it looks like my theory was totally wrong. Last edited by dragoontwo; 01-21-2022 at 11:21 AM. |

I thought track width is measured from the center of the tire tread to the center of another tire tread, so it shouldn't change with wheel/tire width, assuming the same wheel offset? Then also why 10 mm, not 12 or 13? That being said, I have no idea how track width is measured by manufacturers, down to the millimeter. Could be more what you'd call a "guideline" ballpark number than an actual precise measurement. |

I'm guessing the track width for the brochure is probably measured in the CAD models. You certainly can get a nominal measurement that is way more precise than 1 mm.

Being the wheels are 7.5 wide all around, why don't they claim the front track being wider?

The wheel isn’t centered on its mating surface to the car so wider wheels do not necessarily result in no change to track width as measuring wheel center to wheel center. |

Stupid question time.
Double checked the rules, but I figured I'd ask to double check. As Subaru has no "Manufacturer" camber bolts for the BRZ as defined in 13.8.E, aftermarket camber bolts are also a no, correct? How does one realistically get any front camber on these besides loosening everything and using the hole tolerances to get camber? |

Has anyone gotten a letter written to STAC regarding the RCLA's?
