Drift-Office : Jackson Racing Supercharger Installed! (Tune Tommorow!)

Heya guys ~ here's a couple of pics of the installation. We were able to wrap this up without any issue and the hardest thing on the install was to bleed the SC system.

Currently, it's an easy 7 hour job, with setup time for bumper removal and prep, so depending on who's doing this, +/- an hour. Everything fits really, really well. There's nothing here looks like it's out of place, and the kit seems well thought out.

Only thing I can see that's possibly going to be an issue is that silicone inlet but I'm sure that it's been thoroughly tested so it shouldn't be a problem. Anyway, most of you are into pics so I'll just fill this up with some gratuitous shots... Enjoy!

Of particular interest to some, is the intercooler setup as well as where the SC cooler's location is... and as you can see, there's plenty of room here!

Aren't you concerned about the way the intake bends at such angle ?

It doesn't look as acute as it appears in the pic...

Lastly, just about the biggest / hardest thing to do was to prime the SC system to make sure the oil was in there, and that was a bit of fun when we sent a spray of synthetic oil onto one of our other guy's face... Not fun.

Finally, we'll have to see what this does on the dyno!

Don't worry, most silicone tubing can be very strong depending on the manufacturing. Talking like 200+ psi. Maybe even higher depending on the wall thickness.

That's a wide chasm if you think that's close, compared to Vortech's that is.

I think hes talking about the abrupt change just before the throttle body.

I'm going to put my two cents in about this. I think you guys did an amazing job on installation and not going to down on you guys.
That being said I feel like litchfield did a better job with the rotrex setup.

Thanks for the pics! The JR kit is my favorite SC for this platform now, everything except the silicone inlet looks really nice. I especially like the location of MAF, oil bottle and air filter (maintenance-friendly). And the stock washer bottle is kept - my number one priority for any FI kit
