Toyota GT-86 official specs out! (including MPG)

http://translate.googleusercontent.c...4znbIV7nKYIv_g

I cant get google translate to translate the entire table; but from what i understand (and what im the most interested in) is:

MPG: 12.3 km/l = 29.17 MPG (JC08 Test cycle, Full details on page 2) = 36 MPG EPA/CAFE
Gross vehicle mass (limited): 1450 kg = 3196.7 lb
Vehicle weight (limited): 1250 kg = 2755 lbs

Not quite sure what the difference between gross mass and vehicle weight is..

The gross vehicle mass number is scary, I hope that's not just a rough translation for wet weight.

Gross vehicle weight is the weight of the car with it's maximum rated payload. What it means is that the car should never be burdened with more than ~440 lbs of fluids/people/crap.

Google search "Gross vehicle weight definition" and "vehicle curb weight definition" to understand the difference between the larger figure and the smaller figure.

And old greg beat me to it!

I've got no idea where CT is, but judging from your comment I'm guessing it's in America?

Are you including children in your sample population?

According to the source of all knowledge, back in ye olde days (~y2k) the average adult American male weighed 191 lbs, and the average adult American female weighed 164 lbs.
