You head unit does not have the app installed. The app will be available through the Google Play Store when it is released and can be downloaded from there. You head unit will allow for this and we will make sure it works properly on the head unit as we have them in our vehicles also. You will need the "PowerPlug" module (what we call it, without the FlexFuel aspect) to control other aspects of the vehicle if you like via BlueTooth. This will be priced around $425 as a full plug in solution without the FlexFuel aspects. You will also need our tune to make it work as expected but should allow for a little more control on your end through our application. Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

In this configuration (Jackson Racing CARB tune and our FlexFuel Kit) it will also throw a CEL for the rear O2 sensor, which would cause a fail. You can very easily disconnect it from the rear O2 sensor and the vehicle will run properly. In order for the Delicious Tuning FlexFuel BT Kit everything to work correctly you would need to purchase the following. Delicious Tuning Flash & Go Tune Delicious Tuning FlexFuel BT Kit Delicious Tuning 11 PSI Map Sensor You can always switch back to the CARB tune whenever you choose, by following these steps. Make sure you are 91 octane (or very close) Install stock OEM 5 PSI Map Sensor (5 mins) Disconnect Rear O2 Sensor FlexFuel Input (1 min) Reflash Jackson Racing Tune (5 mins) Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |

What are the differences between this kit which uses the the o2 sensor and the old kit which taps the evap line? Is it better to use the o2 line?

from the way i understand it is the difference is that the old kit you had to wire up a gauge display to show your e content where as the new kit you can use your phone instead of having to install a gauge. but i could be wrong

The older kits would require running wires through the firewall and through the passenger compartment to the ECU. Then you would need to either splice into the ECU harness OR purchase and additional adapter harness for $100 which makes those kits even more expensive. We just wanted to make it a lot easier to install and remove when the time came. Lastly you can view your ethanol content with your phone, with the free app we offer with the kit. App coming out soon. Cheers, William Knose Delicious Tuning |
