Now there are 2.
Ive only seen 1 MT Hakone and it was snatched up back in Feb. The 5-6 left in the area are all automatic. I dont think theres a MT left in Northern California

From what I can see in my area, there aren't any great deals or discounts on these cars. The 1.9% APR is the typical you see during holidays and whatnot, plus at most maybe $2k off if you are lucky. Inventory per dealership is never high on these cars and they are willing to sit on it until the right person wants one. The Hakone is still going for 29-30k here.

Argh im so frustrated right now. Theres a bunch of MT twins up in the northeast with a couple good deals, but I'm not allowed to buy a car until August. ive spent a lot of time looking at listings and parts, and the wait is unbearable😵

Hmm TPS went on after driving it home and starting it up again after a few hours. Shouldnt that have been inspected before sending out of the lot or do you think its a faulty sensor?

Check the pressure in the tires with an analog pressure gauge.
Pump them up with analog fresh spring air.

Might be sensing obsolete winter air.

Then manually check the air pressure again after a few hours, or tomorrow.

It happened at 9pm last night and I didnt have a gauge since I usually just go to costco and use their free nitrogen fill. Gave me scare since the final check before it a car goes out the door SHOULD be to check tire pressure. Except they didnt, 3 tires were 5 psi low. Lesson learned, dont assume they didnt everything right at the dealership.

For interest, I went onto the main Aussie carsales site and looked for new twins for sale... apart from the standard placeholder new car ads, there were relatively few ads for new cars in stock, dramatically less than in recent years. Based on the reporting that production of mk1 twins was due to wrap by July, and in fact may already effectively be finished due to Covid, this leads me to speculate stock of new twins in Oz are now very low, and there may not be anymore coming.

Given the possible delay or cancellation of the GR86, also partially Covid related, it could be a long wait indeed until a new twin is readily available for sale. It’s a funny feeling entering an era when there is no new twins on sale... it’s been a feature of the affordable sportscar market for 8 years now, and it’s weird to think of a new car world without it. Obviously the used market will be healthy for years to come.

Nostalgia intensifies!

Meh, cars come and go all the time.

If the Mk2 doesn't have a inline 4 and manual I'm not interested.

I don't think I will ever get another boxer engine though.
