Cycling is good. I can't run anymore due to knee, back, and hip injuries. So all cardio I do is low impact. I also circuit train with weight to keep my heart rate up. I don't do a lot of weight, but a lot of reps and I don't stop, one workout to the next. I usually setup about 3 lifts at a time.

A big goal of mine is to be able to pull-ups. I've never been able to do a pull-up in my entire life. I use the assisted machine and if I was 160lbs I could do a pull-up, but I weigh 202lbs. Grip strength has always been a weakness, but it seems I've gotten to the point where my hands can now support my full weight. The annoying thing is my shoulders want nothing to do with it. So now I have to get my shoulders used to the weight without pulling them apart.
What we called the horizonal ladders, back in the old Army, would have strengthened your grip fer sure. The metal pipes would freely turn in their holes, the pipes were usually cold and wet with dew in the mornings.

I'd be thrilled to see 290 again but I LOVE GOOD FOOD!
Just think about how much faster your car would be by losing 50 lb. That's my motivation to lose 20.

...

Then I gained it all back again because I LOVE GOOD FOOD!

It doesn't show on me, but I'm definitely overweight. I might have been as low as 190 then. I'm ~213 now. Down from 232 at my peak and up from 190 at the lowest. In college, I was as low as 165, but I looked sickly. I do have pretty thick bones. 175-180 is my target weight.

Yeah. Let's do it! I mean, the best that can happen is, out of fear of losing 10 grand or something, we both lose weight and keep it off. No, the best that can happen is I lose weight, you don't, and I get 10 grand.

Drinking isn't my issue. Food is. Though drinking and eating is FUCKING FUN.

I know a way to improve hand strength. Well, right hand strength.

Impressive. You just lacked the proper motivation. Seriously, let's do this!

We just need to change our portion size more than anything. I lost my 30-40 lbs by just eating MUCH LESS of whatever I wanted.

We can even include clauses in case of unforseen medical issues.

Totally serious when I say I felt that 40 and you know it. I just don't care because I'll always be too big to be competitive and even if I was, it wouldn't be in a twin. I learned that lesson early in my motocross days. My hero was Mike Bell because he was 6-3.

Dealership near me has 2019 86 TRD SE listed at $30K
Talked down to ~$27k (have bought 5 vehicle from this dealer)
Qualifies for an additional $2.5k cash back offer or 2.9% for 72 month
Offering $16k trade in
Owe $8k currently

If my Maths on the back of the napkin is correct, Financing would be better option if i plan to pay off early

All in cost is lower with cash back...

This is completely stupid as i should have a car paid off in about 8 months so why put myself in the hole again as the ONLY REASON for this possibly stupid financial decision is is AT --> MT and the +5hp.....

AT is GREAT, Love it! But my hand itches.... Knee may hate me but.... hand itches....

I should just Turbo instead... right....
Or get the Zupra.....
i fully support the manual conversion! though personally, i don't like the steering wheel controls or the gauge screen in the newer models...
