Yeah I think that's normal. I read somewhere that the clunk occurs because something that's spinning gets instantly halted when you put it into gear. I don't really know the technical terms. But I get the clunk. If you put it into gear more slowly and gently, I noticed it won't clunk.

Yes. Mine's hard to change, especially when cold. But...when you drive it hard it slots in quicker than any factory box I've driven. I can put up with it since it's gold when you want to slam through the gears.

It feels extremely similar to an S2000 transmission. I've found a better shift knob works wonders for smoothing things out though.

my bad I guess, my friend said it was a lot like his STI, just super short throws :X


Anyways, I've found my trans feeling better and better the longer (mileage) I drive it
