Anybody feel the rough
ness?

no your doing something wrong. I can shift up and you cant feel it. Same with downshifting, just need to practice more.

i have to admit its a lil tough and notchy but i can understand its still new i only have 50miles on it so imma let it loosen up

It should loosen up on ya as it breaks in more and more. Unless you got a genuine issue. Transmissions literally shave metal off themselves for a while until its fully broken in. If you have ever changed the transmission filter and fluid on a car that has some miles on it you will see the transmission magnets are coated with metallic shavings that can be large enough to feel gritty. I recently found a small metallic splinter in one transmission pan and it stuck in my hand. And that was from an auto transmission that shifts perfectly. Case in point, the transmissions often needs time to break in. Hence the break in period.

the position of the clutch doesn't help .. also how light it is.
just give it a few miles, get used to this clutch :/

Do you mean the clunky noise from the rear differential?

i wish that clunk when you shift into 1st happened every time you changed gear. AWESOME, feels better than the clunk from the Audi R8 tranny :)

Yep, I just wasn't sure if the OP was aware (if that was even the noise he meant).

I get looks in the parking lot leaving work when I roll around in first and the press the clutch to stop at all the stop signs and cross walks....because of that clunk.....makes me want to hang my head out the window and go - "Yes, I know how to drive a stick, and yes that is normal."

That's good to know. I was starting to get slightly concerned when it didn't go away after 500 miles.
