Do you guys have the dealership to change out your engine oil?

Subaru gives out 2 years of free maintenance. Do you guys have the local dealerships to do it for you? Or you guys just do it yourself at home?

Just curious.

I have the 2 year free service with Scion, but I decided to change it myself. I just did my first one (1650 miles) this past weekend. Easy as heck! I also installed the Fumoto Oil Valve so it will be even easier going forward...

I had south coast do my oil changes for free as well for first 12k miles, they are a mod friendly dealer it seems.

I've always been one to do oil changes myself but I had the tech do it during a visit when I was having my fuel pump replaced.

Have always done my own stuff in the past as I trust myself more than someone who doesn't necessarily have a vested interest in this exact car.

With the FR-S, I had started to use the free maintenance, however:

I will be going back to DIY immediately. Sometimes free is not worth it!

NOTE: Subaru only gives you 2 years free maintenance if you buy your car from SoCal.

Think it's $130 at the dealer. Think that's how much they wanted to charge me for complimentary oil change... Yes I said charge and complimentary in the same sentence.

Edit: it was actually $170.14
