Cruise control

I'm not mad about that waggly cruise control arm as it requires moving your hand down to operate.

Many cars have convenient thumb operation on the wheel arm.

Comments? Mods? Suggestions?

Considering this is a bare bones sports car, be happy there is even cruise control on this car.

#first world problems.

I find it incredible easy to use. I love the fact that the steering wheel isn't chalk full of buttons I don't use regularly.

Yeah I'm actually quite pleased with the feature, and how it comes standard. Although it might not be right there at the normal driving hand position, it's still easy to get to, my 4Runner actually has the exact same lever/button system so it was an easy transition. I personally hate any steering wheel controls, I'm not lazy to where I can't reach for something.

I'm really wondering if people are just looking for things to complain about at this point to create new posts. Sorry, but that feature with the arm works fine and is perfectly reachable from the 3 o'clock position.

It's fully functional... what more do you want out of cruise control... set and cruise...

My father was surprised at this car came with cruise control.

Almost every Toyota has the same cruise control and I think it is better than most other systems from other auto makers. It is logical and can be operated without looking at it.

I like that you can increase (up) or decrease (down) speed in 1 mph increments with each momentary push of the stalk or hold it continuously until desired speed is reached. Plus, it's cumulative. Momentarily push X times and it will reach and hold the new speed.

Oh wait, I don't have mine yet. That's the way all other Toyotas work, anyway.
