It sounds broken, i have never heard something "blow off" for 3 seconds as if its leaking. Is that because its a diaphragm and not a piston based BOV?

Superchargers, unlike e-chargers and turbos, maintain their boost after letting off the throttle, and generate it anytime the engine is running, this should not be needed to be explained to you, you would be better suited to be in a thread about phantom charge developing on a battery and how to prevent it. (Just giving you a heads up, it can't.)

Yes. As long as your talking about my something something post, makes the supercharger act more like a PD when comparing dyno graphs for torque.

Hey im just spreading the love to some other threads

The phantom system does not need this as the electric motor controller actually "Brakes" the compressor as soon as you let off the throttle, preventing surge.

So... just giving you a heads up, it doesnt need this and we have already fixed it!

Phantom charge, known on the east coast as ghost charge is how a battery retains a memory where it thinks its fully charged but completely dead (or near dead) the idea is with every recharge cycle the battery is only thermally capable of holding 99.9% of its original load. (Look up dead Prius)

It's just humorous that your echarger decided to name themselves phantom chargers.

Every FI system has its draw backs.

Oh I misunderstood you then, I apologize my bad. Anyway you are right about the draw backs. To each their own.

Cheers

hey brian are you guys thinking of releasing an add on that can control boost? I want to run the 12 psi on pump gas and would like something that can limit the boost to 9 psi.

It is a new upgrade assembly, direct swap with new flanged tube and all. Just like in the photos. That way, you don't have to remove the powdercoating off your existing tube in order to weld a flange to it, and then be left with a less clean looking, partially un-powdercoated tube on your car.
When will we know pre order is available?
