Sweet. Was just getting ready to pull the trigger on a tial unit.
@Brian@Vortech, I see its a bolt in unit not a hose unit. Will it come with both sides of the flange and need welded or a replacement pipe section entirely?

Pre-order starting in the next dew days (I don't have pricing yet), shipping in 2-3 weeks.

It is a new upgrade assembly, direct swap with new flanged tube and all. Just like in the photos. That way, you don't have to remove the powdercoating off your existing tube in order to weld a flange to it, and then be left with a less clean looking, partially un-powdercoated tube on your car.

Would this actually help improve boost?

A larger valve such as this one is recommended for people running 12+psi, but other than that...it is more for aural enjoyment than performance gain. The Bypass or Blow-Off Valve in a Supercharger setup is a function of safety, not boost. The valve is open when you are not in boost to relieve boosted air in the discharge ducting when the throttle plate is only partially open, or closed. The valve closes under hard acceleration (roughly 3/4 throttle and above). Therefore, changing the valve does not change your boost, as it is only open when you are not in boost.

We did receive many requests for a louder, BOV-style valve for these systems, so we thought it would be a great way to debut our new Race Blow-Off Valve! The new Maxflow Race Blow-Off Valve will also be available separately, and can be used in any application that does not require draw-through MAF style air recirculation. We anticipate this valve will also be very popular with our 2011+ 5.0L Mustang Systems as well.
