I probably should be thinking about those next tbh. Brake fluid and spark plugs are next up on my list. Might pay someone to do those though since I'm getting old

New drive belt, brake fluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid, oil change, full alignment, pvc valve replacement and new Michelin PS/4 tires last week.
70k miles. Will replace spark plugs later this year. |

Did you do these yourself? I'm curious how much it costs to pay someone to do brake fluid.

After 4 years of ownership, I finally made some more substantial modifications. Bought some RCE SS-1 coilovers locally and paired them with some SPC RLCAs. Alignment isn't done yet and is schedule for a week from now. Old wheels and tires are back on for now. New wheels are the Apex Arc-8 in 17x9, 245/40/17 A052's.
I've modified Subarus for 15+ years now, but I've never owned coilovers. Setting the ride height is turning out to be a pain. The front was more or less maxed out and sits about at stock height. I was adjusting by hand and that some point in raising it in the rear I couldn't get any more turns out of it without a spanner wrench, which I need to go buy. I'm trying to get it only about 20mm lower than stock ride height. The driver's side rear seems to be sitting 1/2 inch lower than the passenger side despite being threaded up a good inch more than the other side. I'm going to redo the rears to see what's going on there.

Put her back down on the ground after being on jack stands all winter. Gave her a bath and headed to the first autocross (for me) of the season.

I've been running DS for 4 years and actually never owned adjustable coilovers only any of the cars I've run. My front is set at about 5 1/2 inches at the pinch welds, which allows me to just squeeze my low profile jack under the front in the middle. Rear I was playing with since the rear driver's side needed to be raised a good bit to get even with the other side. I'm now sitting at about 6" at the pinch welds in the rear, which more or less makes the rear wheel gap look close to stock. Not sure if the height is going to affect handling much. Still need to get around town (at least to events) and PA has a much of potholes and hills.

I like to measure from the ground to the fenders, or center hub to fenders.
In which case, from center hub to fender, I'm at 13" in the front and 13" in the rear. Not super low, be certainly a good bit less then stock height. Even if you had decent roads you don't want to go too low, especially in the rear as it can cause extra stress on your axles. |

Just measured: 13.5" front and about 14.25" rear. The rear is sitting a bit high for sure. Car also hasn't been moved since it was last up, so it usually settles about a 1/4" inch. Probably need to come down a good 1/2" to 3/4" in the rear. Thanks for the measurements.

Changed out the front disks. Knew the drilled DBA XS’s would crack at some point. Changed out to the DBA T3 that is not drilled. Found out that EBC yellows will only last 2 track days. Not buying those again.
