Wheel Directory: Forgestar F14 17x8.5 +38

I haven't seen this spec F14 posted so here are my girl's new shoes!

Forgestar F14 17X8.5 +38, center caps, plate frame, cleaning towel, 16.2lb per the photo on the Forgestar FB page.

Pics don't show the Textured Gunmetal color as well as in person. I'm really glad I went with this as opposed to just matte gunmetal.

245/40-17 Pilot Sport A/S 3.

I know what you are thinking! It needs to be lower. Trying to decide if I can deal with a drop on springs for daily driving. Also don't want to have to put a bunch of camber in the front to get it to clear the fender (Honestly, I'm not sure how much travel the suspension sees anyway, would it even hit? Rear seems like it'd be fine.).

My girl's got a big ol' bootay now!

Took her out on a nice twisty road today for 15 min or so, all I had time for. It was fun though and had time for some photos.

I think her new heiny looks great!

This makes them look matte black.

Edit:

Thanks to Jurrian @ModBargains.com

The design makes them looker larger than 17". Good choice. Does Forgestar off er a 17x9? And of course, how much did your set cost?

Sick!

Now hit up Jurrian again for some st coilovers. Gave me a little drop, good comfort for dd but still sporty for the twistys!

You'll be fine with a drop too, I run 18x9's with 245/40/18's and I don't rub

I think if I go with a drop, it'll be something like Eibach Pro Kit or RCE Yellow. Need to mind the budget for now!

And guys, definitely hit up Jurrian regarding pricing, colors, sizes, and so on. For being able to spec what I wanted, the pricing and timing were good (got them in ~6 wks after ordering, which included the week of New Year's.) I also got black lugs from Forgestar, which go great with the wheels and of course fit just fine.

I know I'm late to the party but that looks great. I'm going to go with the same but wheels in gloss black or piano black

Reviving this thread since I actually did manage to make up my mind and buy these wheels.

I weighed one of the wheels by weighing myself, then weighing myself holding a wheel, so I'm not sure how accurate this really is, but the wheel actually weighed 19lbs. I'm a bit bummed it's not the 16.2 from facebook. I wonder if the forging process changed or if the picture is a lie.

Are you serious!?

The weight was the only thing selling me on these vs the tsw nurburgring..
Can you or someone else confirm that weight?

EDIT: 08/20/2016 4:50pm

I contacted Forgestar and the their new weight estimates are "19-20 lbs" for the 18x8.5 F14 +38 5x100 and "17-19 lbs" for the 17x8.5 F14s
