How does it work? Is it from Beatsonic if so hows the color match, mine is white also but was going to get an unpainted one? How about removel of the stock antenna and install of this one, tough or what?

From what I understand you have to remove the headliner, though I haven't done this myself and it was to vinyl wrap the roof. But that was required to remove the antenna.

Beatsonic is very easy to install. Remove stubby antenna, hook up wire, press on shark fin. Need to make sure it is centered right.

I had a friend in Front and back on my car when I did it. But some members cut paper and made a templet. Beat sonic is super easy and they even sent off 10-30 shark fins to get painted WRB just for our forum since they didn't have that color. Great customer service and I love my shark fin.

Why do you put emphasis on "FUNCTIONAL?" Have BeatSonic antennas shown some attenuation in the signal?

In BRZ, there is a GPS and XM antenna in the antenna base - shark fin covers it, adding attenuation, yes. You may not notice it, but in harsh conditions - you will.

Secondly, areal (FM, AM, HD Radio) need a whip. Fin has etching on the inside to compensate for the lack of whip, but its compact design will also introduce some signal loss.

FR-S guys - don't worry - its just analog areal for you, thus you are not affected.

Use the "email us" option because the FR-S isn't listed. They got back to me within a few hours.
