KartBoy Short Shifter

Had this on the car about 2 months. Not really liking the feel of it. Still in great shape. It will include the two o-rings that come with the kit and the rear shift bushing. I am missing the screws but the stock set should work just fine. I lost the stock set and had to use the Allen heads that came with the kit.

130 shipped.

Price drop 150shipped. It didn't feel as smooth as stock, seemed like it required a bit more effort to change gear.

It would, because physics. Shorter leaver equals more force required to move..

Did you have a weighted shift knob?

Makes a big difference. When I switch back to the factory one, it feels notchy and kind of clunky *factory* when I put on my shift knob..super smooth and easy

Will the stock screws work? Aren't they a bit shorter?

There must be a reason that kartboy included the screws... if not, they would just tell you to use the oem ones?

Quite so yes The only thing that is stopping me is the grease and screws

Cool. Well I can't say that I recall the screws being any longer. Not 100% sure though. As far as grease I think any multi purpose auto grease will be fine.
