You will need the last link stating: Off-The-Shelf (OTS) Maps for naturally aspirated configurations

xml files only nedd if you want to edit or modify tunes.

tune files are hex or bin and in different directorys you need the tunes in directory that matches last letter of your tune calid, oft will only let you load compatable tune files.

Lots of great info in the forums, I've been reading everything I can and it has my head spinning. I ordered my OFT on Monday afternoon and had a shipping confirmation in less than 3 hours, how about that turn around time!

Going to be running the Stage 1 93oct tune, I can't wait to open up the box tomorrow when it gets here!

11.25 is a bit on the rich side but thats normal for oft tunes they run on the rich side for safety.

Have a read on the Basic log your tune post link below

This may or may not be the best place to ask, but has anyone had any issue with the math not lining up for the Launch Control?

I've had it set at 3000 [7600-3000=4600] and that is right. I'm trying to set my launch control to 4000 (autox launch for minimal burnout when dropping the clutch) but if I set the delta at 3600, the launch control goes to 3600rpm, at which point the math doesnt work. I've tried in 100 RPM intervals and heres what I came up with:

Redline - Delta = Actual RPM at rev limit [what rev limit SHOULD be]

7600 - 3600 = 3600rpm [4000]
7600 - 3500 = 3900rpm [4100]
7600 - 3400 = 4200rpm [4200]
7600 - 3200 = 4400rpm [4400]

Couple of things you could check.

make sure your Flat Foot Shifting is disabled ie delta=0 if your not using it. Or make sure the delta is like 2000 so its not clashing with launch control setting when clutch depressed.

not sure what the reference is for Max rpm maybe its fuel cut so check the fuel cut is set to 7600, it may have been left at stock value .

otherwise might be coding error

Flashed my ECU for the first time on Friday and I'm noticing the dead pedal, should I reflash and follow the suggested steps or what is the best approach to correcting this now that I've been driving for a couple days

Change the numbers to suit your needs, it would be 3100 in your case.

Just keep driving. Mine takes about two weeks for the bad pedal response to go away fully. The ECU is doing some sort of TQ requested vs actual TQ learning. I noticed that the throttle pedal angle is dead on as it always is but the normal immediate response from the throttle pedal is dulled quite a bit until it gradually learns that I'm requesting more torque than it can deliver from 1% throttle angle.

I don't drive my car much since I work from home, only really drive to the gym or grocery store during the week and then a bit more on the weekends. How much driving do you do to get back the response in a week or two? If you do a lot of driving and it takes that long then I'm thinking I'll flash back to stock and then reflash stage 1

~100 miles a week. Reflashing is just going to make it take longer to learn.

When this happened to me I just re-flashed the tune I wanted and followed these steps :

Turn ignition fully off after a flash or reset
Turn ignition fully ON, do not start car, do not touch throttle, leave for 20 sec this will allow ECU to perform its diagnostics and calibrations on cam position and throttle position sensors
Turn off ignition
Turn on ignition leave for 20 sec then start car do not touch throttle
Let car idle for at least a minute and wait till it settles at the normal idle of about 750 RPM, again do not touch throttle.
After normal idle is achieved then drive car.

after I followed above, it seems to have helped a lot. Not sure if this was just me thinking it helped or if it actually worked so YMMV.
