Couple of changes I have made to my lifestyle so far.

Eating more chicken and different fish, mostly cod, tilapia and salmon, also getting creative with the air fryer, just have to nail down the cooking times since it differs from recipe instructions and equipment instructions.

Essentially more protein rich meals, that way I'm not stuffing my face right after getting home.

I have bread here and there, but not as much as I used to before.

4 days at the gym, this includes a short run, bike, or elliptical at the end of my workout routine.

Increased fruit intake, usually accompanied with breakfast.

Most important, sleep. instead of 4 hours, I get maybe 6 max 7. Except on the weekends where I get 9 or more.

I am down to 178.9lbs in street clothes from 185.9 at the start of the year.

Good thing our GM didn't tell anyone he was cooking breakfast for the building. There wasn't enough for everybody and it was gone by the time I got there. I would have cheated for some pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns.

I almost never eat bread anymore. I will have a little every now and then or say some garlic bread sticks but that's it. And that's very rare, too. My crux is actually rice and potatoes.

As Latino, it is imperative to have bread with my morning coffee. It hurts but it was for the best.

Chicken is garbage. Eat red meat.
I’m sure you’ve heard of empty calories.
Chicken and egg whites are empty protein. No real micros or phytos.
Red meat and whole eggs are the only two true superfoods and maybe some fish.
Chalk full of all kinds of beneficial nutrients.

LMFAO. Yep, you're full of shit. Please, get me a minimum of 5 peer reviewed scholarly articles on why this is a 'fact'. And please, don't cite sources such as Mens Health or Bodybuilding.com.

You need a peer review of the nutritional profile of two different foods?

Weeder would not be proud right now.

By all means continue with your old school bodybuilding bro diet of chicken, egg whites, brown rice, and broccoli.

lol whatever. I know you have a track record of spouting false claims. Don't bring it here.

Provide me 5 peer reviewed citations for this claim.

I know you have a track record of spouting insults when presented with differing views and opinions then your own.

I suggest you do a thorough nutritional analysis of the aforementioned meats.
And the pros and cons of said nutrients, and no not only just the simple basic macro profile. Dig a little deeper, you may learn something.

Why do the work for you? Dude, you do this all the time. Just stop. I'm well aware of the differences between protein synthesis of beef and chicken and the affects if has on muscle growth. The reason I'm calling you out is you speak of it in facts as if its a well known and widely practiced thing within the nutritional field. And by extension fitness. If you presented it as, 'beef and red meat will improve muscle growth better over chicken and fish' I'd be down to have a conversation on why you feel that way and what evidence you've seen. But you don't do that. You just state 'facts' you believe and call all else garbage and empty calories. You've done this in other threads. Just have a conversation without the pompous claims and you will get places.

Out of curiosity, how does nutritional information make you the expert? I'd love to know your credentials within that field.

Hiked 8 miles today up the mountains with a max altitude of 6,420 ft; an increase of 2900ft. My legs are literally dead. The estimated calories I burned skyrocketed upwards to 2700kcals, but due to my watch using the wrist sensor, I cannot take the calories or heart rates too literal.

And best part is, I have another hike tomorrow!
I'll post pictures of this later! The view is amazing.

Added only 5 more pounds to my ruck today and did the same 4.5mi loop I usually do up the mountain. While you could easily scoff at 5lbs, WOW, did it catch up with my by mile 4. I didn't really notice it till mile 3, but it slowly chipped away at me. It doesn't help I've been working harder this week so I guess I was still fatigued from that.
