Looks like your exhaust got left behind, no one told it it needed lifting, hanging low there my friend.

Ya, that’s the downside of the subframe spacers that are needed to keep the CV joint angles reasonable with the ADM lift kit. On the 2nd gens, there isn’t enough clearance to the exhaust pipe where it goes under the diff so you have to add longer rubber hangers around the muffler. (I initially also added a longer hanger to the single point in front of the diff before realizing that particular hanger attaches to the subframe, not the chassis…)

There’s an exhaust joint right in front of the muffler, so at some point I might try to add a tapered shim there to tilt the muffler upwards to get the exhaust tips back up near where they’re supposed to be. The tricky part would actually be finding rubber hangers that are the right length(s). To make the shim work I think I’d need hangers for the rear 2 points that are just slightly longer than stock and ones at the front 2 points that are just slightly shorter than the longer ones I actually used. There just doesn’t appear to be that much choice in hanger length, nor of course do most vendors state the centre-centre hole spacing.

TBH, it doesn’t bother me much and, since I haven’t decided if I will leave the lift kit on over the summer, I don’t want to do anything rash or permanent like getting the exhaust pipe bent or bending the wire hanger mount brackets.

Ordered the Remark midpipe, pairing it with my JDL UEL, JDL Ultra Quiet front pipe, and STI muffler. Really curious how it's going to sound!

September of last year for my '23. Haven't crossed 3k miles yet.

But my commute is just walking from the bedroom to the other side of the house.

+44. Current commute is 3.2mi one way. Tried a slightly longer route today, but it ended up taking even less time due to lack of traffic lights. New location means an even shorter drive now. Barely enough for the car to warm up with winter here.

Crash bolts installed and a proper alignment over the weekend. The car was a bit out of whack in stock form, so the difference between how it drove before/after is quite noticeable.

Added the Verus master cylinder brace and bellhousing cover. The cover is NOT a direct bolt on like the last gen but it does fit the FA24 if you space the tube back there up so that the cover fits under the bracket. There is plenty of flex in the hose back there. And you need a bolt to go in the empty hole, also.

I was a bit apprehensive as to how it would feel, but it does add firmness to the pedal. For me the squishiness that is there was never noticed until I installed the brace. I'm not even talking about under hard braking. I noticed it right away while just driving around town and not getting into the brakes hard.

I don't think it will do any thing for the performance of the brakes as you can still lock them up without it. It just gives better and more consistent pedal feel as you have taken some flex out of the system.

Went for my semi-annual oil change yestarday at the dealer. After coming home and looking at the paperwork I was surprised that it says they put 5w-30.

I thought the dealer always went strictly by the book. I think next oil change in the summer I will ask them to put in 5w-30 again see what they say
