In the car scene basically nothing is. Install windows via boot camp or try
Parallels, VMware, or virtualbox. And then you don't have to wory about comparability.

Personally I use parallels with windows 7 and I don't know the last time I had an issue with anything. Mind you I'm not an oft user though.

Here at the office, all we use are Macs and MacBooks. They all have Parallels installed. Parallels is an $80 application that allows Macs to run Windows OS within a window on the desktop.

http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/

You will also need to purchase a copy of Windows OS (I use Windows 8 on my personal tuning laptop). But XP or 7 will work too.

You can use Bootcamp instead of Parallels but it's not as convenient since you have to restart your laptop every time you switch back and forth between Mac OS and Windows. With Parallels you can run them in... eh.. parallel

Parallels runs Windows in what is referred to as a "virtual environment". There are software companies that won't support their product when running that way because sometimes weird shit happens. It's a lot better than it used to be, but it isn't perfect.
If "Bootcamp" is what it sounds like, it takes advantage of Apple's recent processor change to allow you to start the computer in Windows, not in an Apple os virtual environment. Up to you which way you prefer.
@shiv@vishnu - you use Win8 voluntarily? I'm starting to have less faith in your judgement.

I run vmware on my laptop (macbook pro) and the only program I can't get to run is an RC flight simulator (real flight). I can run anything else (visual studio runs great!) without issue.

Vmware is essentially the same thing as parallels, just different companies making the software.

As of yesterday I can add my name to the list of people who purchased an OFT. I have been playing with RomRaider getting used to it some since about 12/28 (I even had to install java to do it). Props to Robert@vishnu for calling me from his cell on his lunch break to make contact.

No plans on writing flexfuel code anytime soon. Still a lot more that we need to add first (enhanced logging, FL learning matrix, more diagnostic options, etc).

Our e85 maps are designed to be flexible between e60 and e90 but if you are looking to be flexible between e10 and e90, they won't do what you need them to.
