Rear shocks are needed a lot more than front shocks, IMO... but spring perches are an issue. There's a guy on the FB groups selling some CNC'd rear perches to use Koni rears so you can crank up the rear rebound.

Karcepts has some swaybar parts in stock and is building them out as he can, I got mine recently.
Waiting on Karcepts. Guess they had a batch ready a couple weeks ago but I wasn't one of the people who got a note from them.

What's your alignment? I seem to only get push if I give it too much wheel with a bad corner setup. Outside that the car rotates really well and is almost a bit too loose in higher speed transitions; I think its just the stock spring rates causing the car to roll and weight transfer in the transition.

I have a Karcepts bar at 2/2, 0 toe front, and 1/8" in total rear for reference.

Is there a link to the results online? Thanks in advance.

The general consensus from the locals here is to cram the largest tire onto the wheel as humanly possible no matter what. Kinda glad there's some offsetting evidence of this.

Same alignment but no front bar yet.

I think I'm just feeling frustration that we're not improving in the car. SCCA TX Champ Tour is in a few weeks and it'll be frustrating if I can't get what I need to sort out some of the handling issues by then. My codriver is faster than me (has a few Nats trophies) and is struggling in the same way.

This is the setup I'd gravitate towards, personally. I'd ideally want more rear rebound than stock by a pretty decent amount, but the front shocks are pretty much in the ballpark.

With the complications around the rear spring perch changes, nobody has rear shocks ready yet (besides the one dude from Texas or whatever that's making a batch of perches for the rear Konis) so I don't think the car is anywhere near optimized yet.

I have also yet to hear of anybody playing with bumpstop tuning yet...

Yeah, really hoping MCS has theirs ready soon. Last I spoke to them they said 2nd week of April would be done at the machine shop, which is this week.

Just heard from MCS, and the rear perches are ready to order from Karwin incase anyone else is waiting on them.

After the first event in the BRZ, I don't come away thinking it needs a front bar. Everyone that I've talked to has complained about massive understeer after a front bar, and my experience with stock bars was pretty good. Great turn in, with a hint of understeer through sweepers. Some adjustable dampers would go a long way to fixing that.

I'm sure I'm not driving the car perfectly, but it felt great, and the results showed, especially considering it's the first event in the car. Ended up 12th in PAX, which was in amongst multiple trophy winners at Nationals.

I think y'all about to learn about the "joy" of bump stop tuning... I ran CS in 2019 and some competitors literally brought a bag of them to grid to swap if needed.

I was going to order a couple from RE to try but saw the largest they sell is 16mm which wont fit my MCS's. They said they could be drilled out but could crack from doing it.

I drilled them out for my ND (also on MCS) with no issues. Just be careful to make sure the drill is centered.
