Zero issues since I have had the Vortech. 1 month shy of a year on the car. Vented hood too. Personally I can't say enough good things about the fit and finish. Reliability-wise its been great and Mine is not an off the shelf Vortech. I integrated a wastegate system on mine from day 1 so I stress the compressor far more than most with this kit. So in the end some might have little things here and there and others like myself have had a flawless experience in all aspects even pushing its limits.

I'll second this. I beat it pretty hard and it's been great. I've only gone through 1 belt change and that was my fault.

The H/D V-2 oil fed system is designed specifically around the idea of competition level racing, however would also apply for anyone who wants to go beyond the horsepower capability of the existing V-3 system. The H/D V-2 H67B compressor replaces the entire transmission side of the compressor, and includes heavy duty internals (bearings, seals, gears, etc.), which allows the unit to not only withstand extended, hardcore competition-level track duty, but also allows the unit to be spun well beyond the impeller speed limitations of the V-3, for a power output capability so far unseen on a supercharged FA20.

For those looking to purchase a Tuner Kit with the H/D V-2, the part number is 4TF218-124, and can be purchased directly through Vortech, or through any of our Dealers & Distributors.

For those who already have the V-3 system and want to upgrade, contact our service department, and they will fill you in on what is required and quote you pricing, and then you send in your existing unit, we upgrade it with all H/D V-2 parts, and return it to you, along with the oil feed and drain lines. Install the new parts and upgraded compressor, and off you go!
Hi!!!

I would like to update my V3 H67B supercharger to
engine oil fed H/D V-2 H67B Supercharger.

What is approximate base psi and max psi with V-2?
what size of the smallest pulley for V-2?
How much will cоst this update?

Thank you.

Everything between the V-3 and the V-2 are the same with the exception that the V-2 can withstand prolonged high RPM such as in road course racing. The V-2 is mostly a heat combatant for the bearings and gear case oil (which is obviously engine oil on the V-2). If you want to stay within the MAX impeller speed limits on both V-3 and V-2 then 3.125" is your limit. If you are ok with pushing the limits put whatever you want on it, just be prepared to rebuild the supercharger at some point pre-maturely.

How are the washer fluid reservoirs holding up with the latest kits? Any owners still reporting leaks?

nothing on my kit has broken yet. 8,000 miles as of today I may be upgrading the charge pipe to the throttle body to 3 in and a custom 3 inch intake also just sent my blower for the Heavy Duty upgrade.

if anyone has any questions about the system you can email me.

I'm close to 10K miles on mine, no problems after replacing the idler pulley for squeaking. Half of the miles have been on a 3.125" pulley and cold starting in 2-20*F weather
