Tesla is playing mind games with styling. I originally thought the truck looked ridiculous but I seem to appreciate it a little more everytime I see a picture of it. Wouldn't surprise me if this was by design

Nah I felt like that about the new Mustang and Camaro. I thought they were horrendous at first but they slowly grew on me. I agree with Soundman it just looks stupider with every angle I see. I feel like it’s one of those things that some “fashion” companies do where they make some ugly ass shit KNOWING people are still going to buy it for the name, attention etc.

So of these, the one i would spend my money on, everything being equal, is tle Colorado ZH2, but I'm a fuel cell fanboy. It's more of an off-roader than a "truck" though.

Of the others, the E-10, and the Hummer don't count because they are one-offs with no intention to go into production.
Of the ones that are left, I'd take them in this order:

Atlis XT Truck depending on price, which is supposed to start around $45K

F-150 (although I'd prefer a Silverado). Service/support and you don't have to wonder if they will be here in 5 years (yet).

Workhorse: Technically a hybrid (like the Volt) but they are supposed to come with a pure electric in the same range as the two above.

Tesla Cybertruck: The range is great (in the tri-motor) but the exterior is ugly, the interior uglier, and not a very usable truck.

The Dongfeng, isn't likely to be available here and the range is too small if it was offered. The price on this video is pretty impressive though.

The Bollinger is too expensive and range is too short
The Rivian is ugly and too expensive.

Won't disagree with you, although at least some look like "regular trucks". I don't have an issue with wholesale design change as part of electrification, but it still has to be "attractive". Unfortunately, previous design (what we're used to) does play into that.

GM's main problem though is their insistence that the charging network is other people/companies problems.

that is one thing tesla got half right, doing their own charging network. it's too bad that it's proprietary, and not SAE charging standard compatible.

Well, to be fair, that was the only way Tesla was going to succeed. Without home charging and some level of network, Tesla would have never sold a car.

Tesla missed an opportunity to cash in on other manufacturers by making their chargers available (for a fee) to everyone. I'm guessing at the point some of the other sources reach critical mass, Tesla will stop expanding their network as well.

Half right leaves the door wide open to SAE compliant competitors.
