Hey, so I went back and studied the pics you took of the diode assembly. Those 3 diodes are wired in series so disconnecting one diode will kill all of them.

Is your multimeter analog, or digital? Model number?

For anyone following along, a couple points regarding LEDs and semiconductors in general. This includes both junction and field effect devices.

1. They always initially fail by shorting out. After that, they'll either go up in smoke, or they'll just sit there like a piece of wire in disguise. It depends on the application.

2. LEDs gradually get dimmer as they approach end of life.

Multimeter is digital. Craftsman. The 200mA fuse is blown. Can't get another till Tuesday

The question is whether it blew when you were trying to test.

Can you get a pic of the back of the circuit board without your thumb? And can you get some numbers off the other components on the board?

I'm thinking we don't need to measure anything here, it appears to be a protected circuit taking 10-14v in (I think that's a cap, then a regulator, then ... not sure, some resistors but I can't see what they're doing); we just need to spec the right voltage, which we should be able to determine knowing the other parts. I may be wrong, as I never quite understood diodes and current (beyond making sure you don't draw more than they can handle, but this circuit is dedicated to the LEDs)

You're the one who said you looked like a human bean. I thought you were being facetious.

Edit: so assuming you meant "human bean" as you are super skinny: the answer to that is actually super simple> eat more. You should lift weights so you don't get fat and you'll be cut all the time so you'll look great but yeah, just eat more. Eat every 2-3 hours. Ideally you would measure your food and count your macros but in simplest terms, you body needs more calories to build with.

The blue wire goes to the main plug so it will provide a full 12V

For reference: the rectifier data-sheet

Looks like 195Ω in series (2 390Ω in parallel...)

Max average forward amperage is 0.8A on the rectifier but I have no idea why this part is there...

The input signal is AC. I'm not sure what the first component is. It's likely a filter cap like you're thinking. The first component is a bidirectional transient-voltage-suppression diode.

The second component is a bridge rectifier. Then as expected come the current limiting resistors. Those are 2 390 Ohm resistors in parallel.

Yes, figured that much out already And posted it all. Except I wasn't expecting A/C... I know what a rectifier is for...

195Ω just seems odd... it's about double what I would spec for this LED (white) to have acceptable operation from 10-14.3v (note, this LED is designed for use with a reflector, part of why I chose it... plus the case design and dimensions are correct if I'm remembering right).

I think this green version may be right... but...
