In all honestly the lead time on items were resolved about 3 months ago. Which include rods, Ported Cylinder Heads. Now the car isup and going just finalizing some thing on the fuel system. Goals have changed and I torn down a couple assemblies to get some custom pieces made to integrate a higher fl;ow pump than a 265 as well as a return system. Considering we have more of these cars of 400whp than any other vendor in bot MT & AT trim and a couple now over the 500whp im pretty sure i know the limitations on the stock fuel system. And rather and flush the build down the drain. I am personally investing the time and money into FRS300 fuel upgrades to finish the project since for his personal finances arent what they are when the build began. So sit back and watch cause if its one thing we have somewhat proven to date is we always deliver on the final product.
We have come to expect such comments from the detractors and to be honest its to be expected at this point. Seems few out there do the same in every platform where success is common. The option is always there since you guys want it done so bad loan FRS300 the money to complete the build vs me paying out of my own pocket for the final bits. Not many vendors would do this on any account but I have for the sake of the build. |

His initial package is paid for. The work we are not doing I am personally providing ie upgrade pump assembly return systems and all the machining and cnc that is associated. As well as the setup fees and hourly rates for the CAD drawing by the machine shop. This was already spoken about a while back as far as what I opted to do with his fuel system. Seems you skipped that part of the discussion and went right to flaming. Or maybe you guys should ask him directly what ive been doing to his car. So you can be clued int. this isnt a kit related issue he is on a complete build project. Thats the only reason I posted because the same people continuously look to draw this thread off topic not knowing all the facts as usual.

If all the parts were initially available when the build began it would have been a few weeks. When the delay on the rods became apparent after a few months, we opted to have the heads worked based on their original 4 week timeline which turned into almost 4 months alone. So most of what was left on our end got put to play recently but, well over 6 moths were spent twiddling our thumbs playing the waiting game. Now we are rolling along but new developments are enacted since what we know now isnt what i knew a year ago as far as the dynamics of the fuel system engine output etc. So i have made some changes to the build in the final stretch here at my own expense since FRS300 has been patient on his end. I just want this build to be like all our our ventures out the door and stays out unless he asks for more power.

I'm glad Toni is on here, i know some people will still just want to flame but most people just want some assurance. I had been waiting for my kit for a bit but mine was customized so i knew it was going to take longer than the 4-6 weeks than given. I think he'll be able to get kits out quicker because he took out a couple of options that delayed shipment, but it i do feel he can get a better fabricator to get those headers and piping quicker.

@FA20Club.com got my car first half of Apr they had had my valve train, pistons, new heads and block by Apr 29th thats when pictures of them were posted on here. So they more than likely came in a day or two earlier. June 3rd pics of rods were posted. July 1st heads came back from p&p. while the heads were out rockers got lost as well. Sometime between then and now motor was put back together only to discover they forgot to fix water leak under the intake so they had to pull that off order new parts for that. few weeks went by started car up discovered valve train making noise so had to remove heads send them back off to have shims made which took a week then had to put it all back together. I dont recall waiting 6 months on parts what i do remember however is waiting on ppl to get off their ass to do the actual work. Toni also said he wanted to drive the car around for 100 miles before dyno. I was told it went on the dyno and made 370hp at 10/12psi but now fuel system needs to be upgrade. I mentioned upgrading fuel system months ago and was told its not needed that accelerated performance was just tryn to sell parts. So here we sit now waiting to get that fixed even though its been a known problem for months now. along the way parts were lost, forgot to install exhaust, valves not shimmed, water leak that was there from day one. Ive asked questions and never got answers to alot of it. I dont mean to piss anyone off here but Ive had enough to the point I want to get rid of the car and be done with this crap. |

The head were ported and the rockers were misplaced by hat company not as as i told you. I replaced them with new pieces from Toyota which of course was NOT a shelf part at the warehouse. The shim were custom cut because the valves you Purchased from FBM were too short thus increasing you valve lash which i discovered after the fact. I paid to have custom stainless steel shims cut then hardened to the correct thickness to bring everything into spec for you head. Which all required the removal of your engine to do so not billed to you. As far as your fuel system you dont need a return system as i told you. im simply putting one on your build to suplplement the fact that im already investing time to get a 400 pump intank. As as we all know that not a PNP task otherwise we wouldnt all see builds to date with the DW65 to this point as the dominant pump. You can be upset and thats understandable. Beyond that you are free to call me like everyone else does since im not responsive enough for you via text.
Brandon, feel free to contact me on Monday 888-657-1444 so we can come up with anyway to expedite the final process. Im even willing to have you send us the Accelerated kit if you like. Im done commenting via forum. Feel free to update the public though. But i dont have the man power since im a single entity. Last edited by FA20Club.com; 12-07-2013 at 06:11 PM. |

But you said to email since the phones are busy. Lol.
So why was Lexus making 489whp with higher manifold pressure (which requires a stronger fuel system) than this built car on low manifold pressure pump gas. I understand e85 allows more ignition timing for power but it doesn't add 35% more power to offset the 35 flow requirement...

Because he has a test rig which he was willing to use but thats not a commercial product im signing off on. His car has always been test subject for most of our products. Emails are faster but just lie when i told you tocall directly somethings are best done in a single phone call. Emails are great for fast quickdealing. Considering He has only everyspoken to me once ever. It would be best for clarification. I dont like long back/forth texting its tedious and wastes time vs a phone call.
