Aftermarket wheels?

There were threads about rims, but I though we could make a new one in this section.

We know we won't have all sizes the fit / we wish/need but what rims would you like and what size. Please no 16" vs 17" debate. We know larger rims = more ursprung mass = lower performance.

I would like some rims in 17", 18" if I can't fit a BBK. I would like a large 5 spoke rim. I really like Volk TE37SL, but I want 5 spokes instead of 6 spokes. Actually I found the rim I want, they are Rota P-45R inspired by Nismo LM-GT4 made by Rays Engineering. However there are many boken Rotas, I don't think there quality equals the japanese. I found the Advan TCIII, but they are only available in 18", 5x114,3 for Nissan GT-R.

I have no issues with Rotas. I've run them for.. 8 or 9 years now.

Can we rename the thread "Aftermarket wheels?" though?

I was just going to say that. There is a difference between wheels and rims. We are talking about wheels here.

17x what? Off the top of my head I have no idea but I'd guess something along the lines of CE28s or TE37s. Whatever it is will likely be a forged 17" single piece wheel, multi piece are heavier.

edit: Thanks Hachi!!

The above mentioned Enkei RPF1's are quite light for the $.

I'm considering some of their PF01's in black (on a silver car). A bit heavier than the RPF1's but they have the look of the 'Ring car's.
