Awaiting Bike Season

Damn this snow! But I've finally started to get ready for Bike Season and started my Winter Maintenance list . . .

Rectifier / Stator = $80 (ebay junk)
Oil change = $50
Chain / Sprocket = $165
Rear Tire = $140
Fork Seal = $100?

Looks like 86 parts are gonna be put on stand-by

Double check brakes/brake fluid!

I sold my bike before winter because I will be moving soon...

I do plan on buying another bike when I get to where I am going.

Put some knobby tires on it you pretty little girl!

I'm pretty stoked about warm weather coming too. I just bought the wife a Monkey, the motorcycle, not the furry primate; she already has me. This caused me to go dig in my storage container for the bike I used to ride years ago.

Wow. A couple of years sitting in a container on a humid little island have been cruel. I have to blow it apart, clean and repaint or polish everything, replace some busted stuff and put it all back together.

Good thing it's so simple to work on. I never had the cash to trick it out back in the day, now I have at least enough to make it clean and new looking.

Track season here in Texas starts first week of March and I can't wait.

Nice bike OP. I'm on a 2013 GSXR 600 myself.

Fortunately here in Texas there are always at least a few days every couple of weeks that are great to ride on even in the dead of winter so I have not had to put my baby up.

Here is a pick of mine, only thing different since the picture is black tank grips I put on.

I've been able to get out and ride about once a week all winter, yay California! But looking forward to rising everyday again.

OP, is one fork seal bad or both? Id highly recommend replacing both at once, and You're looking closer to $200 for that

Just picked up my first bike from a friend, '01 Kawa Ninja 600... 8k on it. Just bought a bunch of gear from revzilla, gotta get it mechanically up to date though, chain, sprocket, plugs, coolant, oil change, carb cleaning, lol

Gonna be a bit here in frozen Southern Maryland before I can whip out my Fireblade. She's resting peacefully in the meantime though.

Hopefully I can actually find a decent place to ride here this year. Ohio is seriously lacking compared to Colorado. Haven't gone on a long ride on Street Triple since I moved here. And winter sucks so much here once its cold it just stays cold, snowy, and salty till spring.

Pulled the batteries off the tender just yesterday in preparation. Everything is oiled, cleaned, tightened and aired up ready to go. I'm holding out for this coming weekend to be the first perfect riding conditions of 2015
