OK we have a metallurgist on board. There is a way to check for cracks on Subaru blocks , I guess hillbillies still call it magnaflux and I see I'm not alone:

That's pretty easy when you see a fist sized hole in an engine block. "well you see, here's the problem.."

No like they will say. Oh the hole was prolly made because this PSI was ran or it was running lean or this or that. Cant make any assumption without the logs.

You know what you are right... In this forum we NEVER ask to review logs to figure out what happened...
