Some advice

So I got my new wheels ready to have the tires mounted and put on the car. While I have the wheels off the car I was thinking of maybe applying something on it to make it easier to clean and keep clean. Any recommendations out there on what I should apply on the wheels now so to keep the brake dust off or make it easier to clean in the future?

Armor all makes a spray to protect the wheel....

http://www.acehardware.com/product/i...LAID=461806833

I used it on my O.Z. once.... and it caused discolorations in the Carbon fiber center cap... never used it again... Could have been user error...

My wheels are flat black in color so I'm a bit more cautious. I don't want to damage the powder coat. Maybe just a coat of wax?

Borrow some wheel wax from your friends.

Use sonax wheel cleaner when you clean. Just spray inside, use power spray. It'll clean nicely even in the wheel barrel.

Friend never cleaned his wheels during winter, and those sonax just cleaned almost everything inside with power spray. Pretty amazing.

I have a nanopolish sealant we use at work. I work for Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists and I know we use it on all of our wheels. Pretty good little stuff. Helps alot and I think it's like $10 a bottle but 1 bottle will definitely last you a couple of years.
