Nitto Invo?

Anyone care to share their experience with these tires? I'm limited in what tires I can purchase at the moment but these are one that I can get. How do they compare say to the RS3 or PSS ect.

I sell a lot of Invos and I have a lot of positive feedback from customers saying they really like the tire. I'm personally not a big fan of the tread design, I think it's too funny looking, and I don't like how quickly they can wear out if you drive it quickly.

Michelin PSS is easily one of the best daily driven tires on the market today if we're not talking about R-compounds like the RS3. The RS3 will have more grip than the Invo and the PSS but wont last as long. Michelin SS will last a good amount of time, will be the most quiet, comfortable and best overall tire, more so than the Invo.

Of course this is all my opinion but I do sell an absolute ton of wheel/tire packages, so I get a lot of feedback on how customers like their tires.

I've had Michelin PSS 225/40/18 and Nitto INVO in the same size.

Both have been good on road and track - my car is a daily drive with track days thrown in and I don't change wheels/tires so need a safe road tire with enough grip for track.

Both perform really well on track but the INVO doesn't last as long - seems to get more wear on the outer edge. I think the INVO has a bit more grip than the PSS.

On the road the Nitto INVO seems much quieter to me. Although, here we have a lot of roads with chip on top of the asphalt so may not be the same as the road you drive on.

Next tires I get will likely be INVO again although may look at the RS3 given the comments by @ModBargains.com - what brand are the RS3?

I have the pss and they can't take much heat, I overheated them doing burnouts. When I got them I could could crank the wheel and floor it in second on 90° corner when it was about 45° out trying to get it to slide and the tires just stuck. Now I can spin the tires when I shift to third. I'm basically on primacys that have traction in the rain.

Have you considered Toyo T1 Sports or R1Rs?

I have had several sets of SS's since introduced but as for INVO's I had one set and really liked them, they were quiet and sticky. I believe they are heavier than the PSS though (if that is an issue). I am currently on Dunlop SMRT's and learning the tire...

I have, but like I said in the first post, I'm limited on which tires I can get. Toyo's are not on that list unfortunately.

On a side note(not directed at @Jrdad), please don't concern yourselves with tire weight. Typically if there are two tires in the same size, but one is lighter, it will usually have a softer sidewall.
When I was looking at tires a while back I was automatically crossing off "heavy" tires. But then I realized that the "heavy" tires were all good tires, with decently stiff sidewalls. So obviously buy tires based on treadlife, traction etc, but put tire weight low on the "reasons not to buy a tire list".
