last year there was hints from Toyota Au Boss that base was going to be mid 30s and premium was going to be low 40s. I think base will be around 37K driveway and premium will be 43k drive away

Doesn't it fuck your mind that Toyota are throwing these cars at the media/press and Tuning companies yet can't give us pricing.. fucking hell.

Could still be too but i doubt it. That was last year and id say before the smarty pants started really knuckling down and crunching the numbers.

Perhaps the car is now cheaper for Toy Aus from the factory but who knows, too many variables between last yr and now.

Its only logical to assume the less cars you make the more each cost.

Projected sales at that time lead Mr Joe Blow of Toyota to say x amount, and now its closer to the realese date and when all the who haa and crap has been accounted for + new projected sales due too the influx of interest compared to what was first thought and all the been counters go yippy and all of a sudden the car cost less to make.

Now they can either hold the extra earning as profit or pass some/all of it down to consumers.

We all know its more complicated then that but its a general rule of thumb.

This is generating do much hype. It's drawing near I reckon. I just hope that they stick to their original promise and make this a true affordable sports car

Uk sets its price that starts with a 2 USA have and most likely Canada as well. So i reckon Toy Aus should as well, if we all shout it loud enough it might happen

Toyota can leave the price starting with 3 for everyone else

If it's 35k or under this would be the first brand new car for me and I'm sure I'd be happy with the purchase!

Mates. I currently drive a 99 wrx. to be honest, there is nothing wrong with my car. It runs very good. I was in the market for a new car because I wanted something different. I think that toyota and subaru's marketing strategy in Australia is very poor. I'll probably stop looking out for this car and be happy with my WRX. In my opinion, all cars are simply overpriced in this country and we are being taken advantage of. Good luck to you guys whenever they do decide to release a price.
