Brake fade was handled by installing DBA rotors, SS brake lines, and high temp brake fluid. FYSA, the stock pads will melt a bit at the track (had to get some life out them before I installed the Hawk pads). Credit goes to FT86SpeedFactory.com for a legit brake setup. Lateral G's increased by HKS Hipermax SPs. These coilovers out perform their looks. Well everything wasn't exactly for performance unless looks count? The oil cooler kept things relatively cool. After four 20min of wide open throttle there was nothing to worry about. Fender liner modification for oil cooler. Bumper modification to let air get to the cooler. I need to make a bigger hole. . . Checked temperature using HKS Carscope. Installed this after rounding off the stock bolt. Up next, the GT Supercharger To be continued . . . Last edited by craigpitts7; 02-26-2017 at 06:09 PM. |

HKS GT Supercharger installed
After about 14 hours of labor, I was able to complete the install of the GT Supercharger. Keep in mind that I am by no means a grease monkey. So someone with experience can probably get this done in half the time.
Here's a picture of the engine bay Radiator cut out. I didn't cut enough of the radiator support. Put a piece of rubber pipe to keep off metal on metal contact. Larger engine bay view Picture of MAP sensor. I'm currently waiting on a good sensor so I drive the car. I think I received a dud. Brake vacuum hose modification Oil dip stick bracket Oil dip stick relocation This canister purge solenoid was kicking my behind. Below is a picture of it located under the intake manifold in the back of the engine. Its the hex bolt peeking out. The charger from the left Last edited by craigpitts7; 02-26-2017 at 05:37 PM. |

HKS GT Supercharger installed cont . . .
Right side of engine bay
Here is a picture of the inlet pipe bracket. This is a well engineered kit. Traction fluid tank for the charger and airbox modification. The engine bay incomplete I plan to do another exhaust clip with the supercharger installed. As of now I have to wait for a MAP sensor to come in. Hence I left the cover off. I want to reiterate that this is a well engineered kit. It bolted up as if it was a factory part besides of the modifications to prep for the installation (that's another story). I am impressed with the fit and finish of the kit. It is superb! If only I could get a good drive . . . to be continued Last edited by craigpitts7; 02-26-2017 at 05:26 PM. |

Here is a short clip of the HKS GT Supercharger v2. The car runs great and the power is incredible. Delicious Tuning delivered a spectacular tune.

I'm using the Samsung Galaxy TAB 4 which was too small but a cover gave it more height to fit. Last edited by craigpitts7; 02-26-2017 at 05:39 PM. |

Nice build. Any recent videos?
I plan on getting the V3 sometime in the future. Not sure if I should go with the HKS included Flash Editor or with Delicious Tuning(e-tune). |

Talk about HKS fanboy! :p
Just kidding. Nice build. I have that same brake kit, and it works great.

Dash Mat Suede Mat
I was impressed how well the Suede Mat fit. I think it adds to a retro feel.

Road Atlanta June 11-12 2016
This was my first track event with the Supercharger. The car held up through two days of abuse without a problem.
Road Atlanta is a high-speed track and the FT86SpeedFactory brake upgrade kit held up multiple laps without any noticeable fade. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WROY1nD2Vs"]Road Atlanta - HKS Supercharged BRZ - YouTube[/ame]
