It's because the Scion brand is l own for cars that look like they were designed by a clown or the chick car tC. I don't want to be associated with fwd crap like that.

I pulled the FR-S badge just because I think it looks cleaner. If there weren't those stupid pins in the back of the scion badge I would remove it too, I pretty much do this to all my cars. I probably will put the Toyota Badges on it, one because I think they look better and two on my DMV paperwork it says Toyota FR-S.... I don't care if people know it's a Scion or not, I liked the original xB(probably would have put the Toyota and bB badges on one of those too)

Do what you want but do it because you want too not because someone made fun of your Scion.

Scion has no heritage in racing,...or anything for that matter, but Toyota and Subaru do, Scion is a marketing strategy only,..I can see why some want to Identify with a better pedigree,....me? I will keep the Scion badge hoping that the pedigree begins next year with the Grand Am racing Series FRS,...I know the TC was raced to some success but I'm expecting the FRS to be the car that changes the image of Scion.

So your friends said "sweet car but you should have spent more money"?

Use the money you saved to get new friends.

Personally, I think the subaru emblems would just look better on the car. In fact, I think I'm going to order some this week and when I get them I will have some before and after pictures. Sure the haters will hate, but what would look worse than the scion ones?

Rebadging lowers your resale to specific markets. Had an RSX rebadged with Honda emblems. Took 500 off my trade in value. I didn't end up going with a trade in, to say the least. Lol

The only reason a rebadge took off your trade is the dealer was trying to UA you Under Allow, he makes more money on the back side on the resale either retail or wholesale.

Lots of smart thoughts. In a way maybe the mass look at Scion brand baring a resemblance to Saturn. That could be it.
I think they got a killer car here, hit the nail on future models and keep smiling. People switching badges I dunno. Only thing I'd dream of changing is 86 world spec emblem in place of FR-S. only because I do appreciate the drivability/affordability connection with the original AE86.

The car was intended to be a toyota 86 and America is stupid calling it a scion frs. We shouldnt deny the car the rightful badging. If anything we are correcting the emblem mistake. Its that simple

Why don't you drop the S and add a Z? Someone said nice FR-Z to me and I was like hmm...light bulb!

Personally, I don't like the matte grey of the scion badge. The chrome finish of the t badges look better imo.. The only response close to negative i've gotten was, "Is that the first mod you owners do to your scion?" I just chuckled and replied with a smile, "It looks shiny and clean."
