2022+ Wheel fitment specs?

For the first generation twins, the ideal wheel specs were 17x9 or 18x9.5 with offset between +35 and +45. What are the ideal wheel specs for the second generation twins?

Do you really need to go 9 or 9.5 wide?

I was thinking 17x8 would be a great size to go with a 225/45/17 tire. With such a light car, isn't a 225 tire plenty wide? There seem to be tons of tires available at this size. with a 9" wheel you're into 245 or 255 width tires. I assume something like 245/40/17.

I'm totally new to this platform. Just asking to learn.

This totally depends on what you want to do with the car. A track car will have different "ideal" specs than a street car, and will have different "ideal" specs than a stance car. There are already a lot of threads on wheel sizes on this forum.
